Germany Day 1 Arrived

We arrived in Germany today after a a couple flights and its was pretty stress free.

From Ottawa to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Munich and train from Munich to Plattling. We walked about 1.5 kilometers downtown to our hotel in Germany and we pleasantly surprised, nice and clean and perfect for the family! After settling in we walked another kilometer down the main drag to the Plattling Wave which looks awesome.  We also bumped into a pile of people that I have and haven't seen in ages. It was nice to see the classics, to be expected, Ruth Gordon Ebens, EJ, Nick, Dane, Thomas Dunphy, Brian Kirk, Dustin Urban, Pringle and a bunch of others and its always dope to meet a bunch of new people too. I took some pics and mostly video of some of the people I thought were ripping and there are a pile of rippers out here. After a heavy study session Lisa, Calder and I went for some dinner at an Italian place with Dustin, Ruth, Dr.Jessie and Paulie, great food and plenty more to see and explore after tomorrow. After that, we went back to the hotel with the best intentions of having a quick nap and heading back to the wave for a training session but when I woke about 30 minutes ago and realized it was 12am I was a little bummed but obviously needed the sleep as I think Calder was the only one to log any hours on the trip thus far.
